2. Would it make sense to have the switching to the waveform somehow optional or with a shortcut?
I could see a scenario where I would want to switch all the waveforms to similar waves from one folder, so if it always jumps to the folder of the current waveform, that may not be ideal in all cases.
Not sure how it could work though.
Could be a "Pin Folder" icon or a toggle to either move to the current folder or not.

I can add a "Lock" icon next to CATEGORIES text. If locked -> the search category / text is not reset when you change the current waveform parameter.

So I uninstalled and reinstalled a fresh version completely (3.0.4) and cubase has now blacklisted both vst 2 and vst 3. Tried to reactivate but no joy as cubase gives a serious error warning. I can't be doing with all this just to get a synth working. Synthmaster 1 and 2 work fine.

Your system is in a state that caused this. If you could give more details about your past state I would be able to help you better.

To reset it completely, please do the following:

1. Delete C:/Users/Public/Public Documents/SynthMaster3
2. Delete all files under My Documents/Synthmaster3 except SynthMaster3LicenseKey.txt
3. Run your DAW, reset blacklist if necesary

Cubase (or any other DAW) does NOT have any such showstopper known issues so far. Just to be on the safe side, I followed steps 1 and 2 above and then ran Cubase 13 on Windows 10 (W10 or W11 doesn't matter)

I purchased all of the SM2 soundsets I never had previously. My Synthmaster and payment emails are different. I went through the in-plugin "Restore My Preset Banks" procedure, and get "All your expansion banks are already installed!". I have tried this in SM3, SM2, the standalone, all with the same result. The email I received from KV331 was to my payment (Gmail) account.
I have submitted several Support claims on the SM site via my account but have not heard anything. Very grateful for the synth development (and the great pricing incentive!) but with all the focus on SM3, I did not want this to be overlooked. I thought about changing my email address on my KV331 account but there is a warning that new licences would need to be issued if I did so, and I didn't want to add to the complication. Please advise!

I just received the missing license files from Levent and was able to get everything installed as a result. Thank you for the followup Bulent, which has resolved the matter. FWIW, I did receive his emails from the Support requests, with no information (just the header). The "Request a License File" option I used from your website sent me an email for each of the products, which had no license file attached. The option to download the license file with the associated download installer in my account gave me an invalid email error message and wouldn't allow me to go any further. Just fyi so that maybe this can be looked at in the future. Anyway many thanks again to you and to Levent for resolving the issue. Super synth, wonderful sound sets.

Here's a better feature: Preview waveforms/wavetables/samples. For waveforms & wavetable, we generate a 2 seconds preview. The wavetable index is scanned from beginning till end in the preview so you quickly get an idea of how the wavetable sounds, without loading it.

Been monitoring this thread for some time now. Currently no customer / owner of ANY plugin from kv331audio but the time and dedication and responsiveness of the developer / team is outstanding! Yes, there are bugs but there fixed in light speed. Yes, some people have problems with anything (missing presets or whatever) but the time of responding to those people giving solutions and trying to solve their issues is remarkable. I got loads of plugin and won't need anything else until the end of days, but I think this team is something special and I might get Synthmaster 3 or maybe just Synthmaster Player just to support them.
Again, I've been reading this ongoing thread here for several weeks now and the activeness never dipped or stopped, the team actually listened to their customers and improved many things in this time, added features etc. Just wanted to say thank you, even though I'm not even a customer (yet!). Great to see a team being so dedicated!

It's not just "in this time". Over the history of Synthmaster, the improvements have kept coming regularly. I just started to take a serious look at S3 and am *way* impressed. So, yeah, get on board to the extent you can afford. What may not be obvious to you at this point is the absolute wealth of S3 presets there are. I'd suggest you come up with a strategy to acquire the synth (or at least the player) and eventually (or immediately if Black Friday offers a great deal) get the whole of the preset collection. I think you'll find it to be a great investment.
