According to Urs on Gearslutz, a new build was being compiled and sent to the testers earlier today (Wednesday) and a release candidate would likely be made available on Thursday (assuming no show stoppers).

That's correct!

We have to assess a possible crash bug that showed itself overnight. Not sure if it's in our code and if it's something new at all. I'm still in good spirits that a RC pops up today.

The estimated December 12th release date might move a day or two, unless really big problems unfold.

That said, the list of Known Issues is still pretty long, but much of it is stuff that's either been there forever or which is part of framework improvements that we have to schedule for a later date.

Quite a few changes. Less complicated, faster. Clicking a main category on the tags page now immediately shows all patches of that category, and combining categories *adds* presets instead of excluding them.
