sync Motif es to tracktion 2

In tracktion 2:
"send Midi Machine Control to device" = "Yamaha USB OUT 0-1"
(this is the out that works for midi playback Un synched)

in Motif es:

MIDI sync "MIDI" or ":MTC"
clock out "off"
SeqCtrl "in"

MIDI IN/OUT "USB" (Midi does work for record/playback)

so I get NO syncing. I Press play on tracktion2 with motif in song mode in a song with 64 measures..motif stays on measure one

how can get them to sync?

I can get cubase SE to sync with motif es just fine..what's wrong with Tracktion 2 ?
