well, now i have my e-mu x25 keyboard up and working.
i was playing around with it last night. i can get notes to record into t2, but not continuous notes.
in other words, if i am holding down a key for a continuous note, i can hear it in my headphones, but there is only silence for that note when i playback the recording.
thanks for any and all help.

MIDI notes consist of note-on & note-off commands.. there is no note-continue! However, the note-on can be at the start of the song, and the note-off at the end if you want..

I'm slightly lost here dash5
is the long midi note (if that is what you mean buy "continuous notes") in the midi clip to be seen after recording?
if yes check to see that its not on bar 1 (or even before bar 1)
if no then i would think maby its a emu problem
any chance you could give us a more detailed run down of the problem plz
have you tryed sevrel long notes in a long clip? is it in loop mode when this is happening? & any thing else you can think of?
Subz
EDIT; IIRs beat me to it & it seems he understood what you ment

i guess i do mean long midi notes.
if i am playing one of the soft synths, i hear everything i am playing
it i play a long note (a few beats or more), i can hear it in the headphones, but t2 is not recording the entire note
