Can anyone using Receptor tell me how long it takes to load samples, for example an 100 meg piano in Kontakt. I´m wondering if I will have time to load new sounds between songs or if I have to use one big preloaded setup and switch MIDI-channels.
Another (perhaps stupid) question I have is if the latency depends on what plugs you are using. Have any of you Receptor-users had any Latency problems?
Thanks for any help!

I use some fairly large Multis, a few with 3 or 4 Kompacts, and I have a few set-ups that take 15 to 22 seconds - (yes, I've timed them)
I believe Kontact is supposed to be more efficient than Kompact in this area....
Can anyone confirm this?
Somebody told me that it's better to use separate instances, than to load a variety of instruments (and set them to various MIDI channels and keyboard ranges) on to one single instance ~ Can anybody confirm this?
I wish it were faster, but it does depend on the size of your samples.
Kompact is the slowest plug-in on my Receptor, and I'd pay to have something that could cut that time in half.
No noticeable latency problems.
