I've put mine in a 4-space SKB along with Roland unit, but just a standard moulded case.
This is fine when I'm doing the carrying, but I've never felt very comfortable flying with these types of cases:
baggage handlers, conveyor belts etc.
After all ~ it is basically a computer.
Do I need to spend the bucks on a 'shock-mount-floating...'
The guys @ Receptor told me they're quite rugged so, I'm wondering what you use?
Have any of you had to check it as luggage?
Any problems?
How do you move around your Receptor?

wel..I actually carry mine to gigs in a luggage case..an old fashioned one , and works pretty well.
But..if I was to put it on a plane, I would bring it as a carry-on

We always take Receptors as carry-on whenever possible. Receptor is rugged and there should be no problem throwing one (gently) in the trunk of your car. But, baggage handlers can be pretty careless if not downright brutal, so you are safer taking it as carry-on.
However, we cannot always take it as carry-on. We have not had any incidents (except a theft a long time ago, an intersting story BTW, but maybe another time...) and we never heard of one.
