How do I install sound fonts?

Not sure how to do this, any help from those who have been sucessful? I would like to use the installed sample player SFG with .SF2 files until I can install Kontakt 2.

Not sure if I just copy them over to the sound font directory or if they need to be installed.

All sounds - samples and sound fonts - are supposed to go to the c:\Samples folder. That is the "Samples" folder at the top of your hard drive, at the same level with "Drop Installers Here"

You could copy them to "My Documents" if you wish, but we recommend "Samples" Make a new folder, then copy them there.

When you get Kontakt 2, you should put any additional samples for it also in "Samples" Preferably in

c:\Samples\Native Instruments\Kontakt

or similar. This folder will probably be created by the Kontakt II installer.
