Trouble with cross-grading z3ta+ and Albino.

I bought a license for z3ta+ from someone in here. I know that his intentions were sincere but it seems that Rene (or whoever) at rgc:audio is too busy to respond to my email or request for a cross-grade. The first request I made (thru Plugorama) was rejected. I followed the instructions and tried to contact the developer directly without any luck. I re-applied for a crossgrade and have heard nothing in 72 hours.

As for Albino, I applied for a cross-grade license and have heard nothing from Linplug, either. It's been over 72 hours on that one, too. I didn't get a rejection notice but it sure would be nice if they sent a notice to me saying SOMETHING.

Personally, I can do without crappy support from rgc:audio. So, I'm giving up on that one. I have the boxed version of Albino 2. I can sent a picture of it to prove that I have it. God I hate this licensing $hit. Oh well....

So, does the 72 hour wait mean 72 "business hours"? Or is it really three business days?

My cross-grade for impOSCar, Minimonsta and Slayer went smooth. The first two I had to paid for which probably gives it some priority. As for Slayer, well, reFX gets five stars for support! That's the kind of service that keeps people coming back. I think I'll buy Vanguard and ditch rgc:audio.

Anybody else have trouble registering (cross grading) Albino 2?

My Albino2 request came back within 24 hours, as did my reFX Vanguard and Slayer. My impOSCar took 4 days and z3ta+ took the longest, almost 5 days. NI FM7, B3, pro53 and Kompakt all came back with 2 days.

Okay, I'll wait and see what happens. It's not like my life depends on it or anything.

I tell you what, I can't get over all the great stuff Windows users have to choose from! There's some fantastic stuff out there and so much to choose from. Wow!

Thanks for your insight on the cross-grade.

Well, this is weird... I thought I'd look into purchasing a few of the discoDSP plugs and I see this thing when I logged into Plugorama. It says: Albino2 ---> Failed Unknown error [retry]. So, I clicked on retry and POOF! I got a license.

Too funny... I'll have to look for one for the z3ta+ cross-grade now....

Well, I have to breakdown my stuff and get packed for a gig. It's my first time performing with my Receptor, wish me luck!

Good luck at the gig! I'm thinking of taking on my receptor and a controller to rehearsal this week. But be forewarned, both me and another new owner have experienced a mysterious "will not boot" syndrome! http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=109172

I guess it would be best to have some backup modules as well ;-)
