G'day all! Don't know if this is a bug or not, but I've noticed that if I try to start up my Receptor with a USB mouse installed, it won't work? The reason I'd like to use a USB mouse is that I've had a new case built, but my trackball mouse connecter (which has a USB->PS/2 converter on it) won't fit in the back.

If there's no way of using a USB mouse, is there an angled version of a USB->PS/2 converter?

Thanks in advance for any help - I was hoping to use it tonight, but I've run out of time.

There is a particular combination that does not work, but I don't remember which one. It may be USB mouse and PS/2 keyboard. The USB mouse by itself (without a keyboard) should work. Also USB mouse and keyboard should work.

You could also try to boot without the USB mouse and insert it later when the Receptor is up. I know that this works with just the mouse, I don't know if it will work with a PS/2 keyboard.

So is that a confirmed bug, Dan? In other words, will it get fixed...?

I think it is somewhat low priority. Have you tried a USB keyboard, or connecting the mouse after Receptor boots?

A PS2 Keyboard and USB Mouse will prevent a Receptor from booting, other combinations will work. This problem originates at the motherboard level.
