"You will need the Uniwire release to have VSTi's be avaiable in your DAW. We are currently busy working on this Receptor update.

I thought Uniwire was out already? I was about to buy a Receptor from Sam Ash this weekend thinking that Uniwire had been out for months. So I cannot currently use Receptor VSTi's within Cubase SX? I'm very confused now.

I am not putting down the guys at MUSE, because they were very helpful BUT after visiting the MUSE website and talking to various MUSE employees about Uniwire, I was under the impression that Uniwire was already out. Even the salesman at Sam Ash (where I WAS planning to buy Receptor at tomorrow) was under the impression that Uniwire was out.
I am definitely holding holding off now at purchasing Receptor until I get some answers from the good people at MUSE.

UniWire is not out yet. We were hoping to release it earlier, but the development is taking longer than expected.
A lot of people were anxious to see it release and were asking questions about it. Less than a month ago there were still a lot of questions in this forum. For instance on Oct 6 I wrote:
I apologize for the confusion. From now on I'll try to be more careful, and when I answer a UniWire question I will also add a disclaimer that UniWire is not shipping yet.

I guess that when you joined this forum, people stopped talking about when is UniWire going to ship. I remember you asking if UniWire can freeze. I replied that it cannot freeze, but I did not mention that I am talking about an unreleased feature, because I assumed that you, like others on this forum, already knew that.Yes. Kontakt 2 was one of the main reasons we decided to ship 1.4 without UniWire sooner, rather than wait until UniWire is ready.
I apologize for the confusion. From now on I'll try to be more careful, and when I answer a UniWire question I will also add a disclaimer that UniWire is not shipping yet.

Hi Dan. Thanks for being honest and clearing things up for me. I'm sure you've been asked this a million times already, but can you even speculate when Uniwire will be complete? I will just hold off on my purchase until then.
Take care,

We are really, really close. Unfortunately, we cannot give a release date yet. We have to fix a small number of bugs, but bugs are sometimes unpredictible. I hope that in 2-3 weeks we will be able to make a better prediction.
