I can't seem to get the stylus prep RMX installer to work, i've put it in the correct map (just as the instructions say)
what am i doing wrong ?

I assume you copied the prep installer in the "Drop Installers Folder" on your Receptor hard drive, then you pressed Install in the SETUP view. Correct?
After you did this, did you see 1 Installed 0 Failed in the SETUP view? Did you copy the Stylus RMX dll to <Receptor hard drive>\Program Files\VST Plugins\Unsupported Plugins\Spectrasonics\Stylus RMX? After that did you press Install again in the SETUP view?
Did you copy the samples in the "Samples" folder?
You need to be more specific about what you did, and at which point in the installation process it failed.

I had problems with the prep-install also, support ticket id 157.
Even though the install of the RMX prep installer said it failed, I looked at the receptor drive where the RMX folders were suppose to be and they were there! I copied the rmx.dll and sage folder to their respective folders on the receptor and I was then able to install StylusRMX sucessfully.
Not sure why the prep-installer was flagged as failed... The file size is much smaller than the Atmosphere installer and this was my first concern as I have no other idea what these installers do other than create directory structure...
One last note, I installed Atmosphere prior to the Stylus RMX install so maybe this helped create the directory structure??? I'm just guessing.
I do know that Stylus RMX works great on my receptor now.
