Fade Out On MIDI Track

Hello,

I was wondering if it was possible to fade the volume out (or in) on a MIDI track? There seems to be a Volume Filter under Automatable parameters for the track and allows me to draw a curve, but it doesn't seem to work properly. Any suggestions?

You could try entering MIDI cc #7 data in the MIDI clip.

In the piano roll, try

Control-->Type=Volume (cc #7)

and draw a fade with the line tool.

Might or might not work, depending on the synth you're controlling.
