Hi

I'm unable to find the trick to play patterns with energyXT.
I've read the manual but C3/C#3 runs ok in Sonar5 but I do not know how to do it in energyXT.

I think you need to make sure that C3/C#3 reach DK+
on MIDI channel 16

Luigi,

I've recorded a little session for you http://personales.ya.com/mahtazz/dk-ext.rar

As you can see I'm able to change the patterns but C3 event on channel 16 doesn't begin to play them.

What I'm mistaken?

PS: energy 1.3.6 and DK+ 1.2

mahtazz: I have a strange sense that it's a couple of octaves lower on the eXT Piano Roll (Cakewalk call middle C C5. Some hosts call it C3). I'm sure when I did this previously, I put the pattern changing notes the C0 or C1 octave on the eXT Piano Roll.

I'll do some testing at lunchtime. (at work atm)

Hmn, nope, can't seem to get the patterns to change at all.

I can turn the sequencer on and off via midi note, but can't change the patterns.

* edit - hang on, you mean turning patterns on and off in general? oh, C3 is working fine here. Sorry.

thank you so very much for your time.

I finally got dk+ and energyxt run together. One of the reasons I become near fool is that in dk+ manual says
"C3 starts the step sequencer and C#3 stops it" but it's just the the contrary.

Now I can start/stop the DK+ sequencer and change the patterns at my taste.
