Hi,
Been trying out tracktion 2 lately, and I have still a few questions after reading the manual :
- I use an external synth which is plugged in my audio card. I have set up a track with its input set to midi in (corresponding to my midi keyboard) and its out to the synth, and another one with its input set to the in of the soundcard. Now I want to hear the audio input processed by tracktion filters when I play, but only record midi notes and not audio, when I hit record. There's only the "arm recording" button, did I miss the monitoring button, as in cubase ?
- How do I simply move automation ? All I've seen is copy/paste and delete, is there a cut function hidden somewhere ?
- How do I quantize a midi clip to triplets when the main time signature is 4/4 ?
- How do I join together several midi clips ? Only found how to split midi clips.
Thanks a lot, I've searched a bit already with no luck

Select the midi clips you want to join by holding control if your on pc, once more than one clip is selected an option appears in the propeties panel that gives you the ability to join them.
Sorry I can`t help you on the other questions.

Select the midi clip and set quantise to 1/3 beat, or select the notes you want and quantise / quantise note start times = 1/3 beat.
"my gosh it's a friggin hardware"

Click on the audio input, and in the "record mode" drop down box select "don't make recordings from this device"Vinz wrote: - I use an external synth which is plugged in my audio card. No, I don't think so. Copy and paste and delete are what you've got to play with.Vinz wrote: - How do I simply move automation ? All I've seen is copy/paste and delete, is there a cut function hidden somewhere ?
