Hi, I am just about to upgrade to T2 but my main reason for upgrading is RMIV and the midi loops. So, how many midi loops are there and are they any good? I can't decide between upgrading to T2 or getting some loops from groove monkee!

I think they are quite tasty.
But dl the demo of RMIV, you get a lot of the loops there, then you can decide for yourself.
I'd however go for the upgrade rather then the groove monkey loops, although I have both.
There was a rd770 (or named similar, a roland drum machine) .zip with some nice grooves in floating around at kvr recently.
I've actually used them more then the groove monkey ones.

I'm glad I tried the RM demo - it crashes my soundcard!

I have had this with a few plugins, I get a can't write or read to a memory address: a few people have the same error in windows 2000 but no one has come up with a firm fix. So no point buying T2 - as my main reason was RMIV!

Does it crash in T2 with RMIV or T1 with RMIV?

Crashes in T1 and Logic Audio (this is the RM demo). Good point though, maybe the bundled version is diffenet. I get this problem with some plugins, I use an Edirol USB sound device, UA3-FX, and certain plaugins seem to make it crash. I have the latest drivers but its just something I live with
