is it safe for me to start using z2 preview in a production, I mean it stops working on new years eve, so is it sure that the real zebra2 will then be on my machine ?

I'm gonna put out a version with extended expiration date... Dec 31st as release date for the final can honestly not be met a all.
So, yes, you can use it. But try to avoid track automation unless using the XYs for it. I'm gonna squeeze a few more parameters in there, thus some hosts might become confused...

yeah, it'll simply stop working when you launch it in 2006. Will you be online somewhen between Christmas and Dec31st?

I'll most likely be online, but I wont be able to check if you've sent out emails with an update, because the email address I used to register Zebra2 with, is my address at work.. (since Share-it doesn't accept yahoo-mail accounts, which I use. 
) Anyway, if you promise me there will be an email including a link to an updated working version of Zebra2, waiting for me when I get back at work on the 2nd of january, you're all forgiven 
And I might even throw in a batch of presets aswell
