Bottom Line: Reliable???

Hello All,

I am inches away from buying a Receptor AM (the Alternate Mode version, optimized for drum use). I love the idea of complete control of my sounds, importing new sounds at will, plugin effects and modulations, the whole 9 yards.

My question to any and all is: is this thing reliable enough for stage use? Yes, I have read the glowing press releases that say it's just as reliable as a "drum module" (which never crash; I have owned 2 by Alesis and 4 by Roland, never a crash in my life)...but the forums here suggest otherwise. I realize the issue is incompatibility, in whole or in part, with the plugins chosen by the user. If I am going to dump some serious change in this thing, I don't want to be explaining to bandmates why there are suddenly no drums in the mix...
