Need some adice on accoustic drum set

Hi friends
I've a little problem finding some specific drum samples: I'm searchin for bass drum and rimshot & tick sounds like the one of Erykah badu in Didn't cha know" or D'angelo in Playa Play or Left and right.
I've own NI battery 2 (and some other drum sample CD) but the sounds provided in the accoustic library isn't the one I'm searchin' for ...
By the way I can't run BFD on my system but I plan to buy DR-008 that my boyfriend use in studio.

So if you have any advice concerning this type of drums please let me know.
Also I'm not sure my problem is the drum sound itself, could also be some mixing technic/tips I don't have because I'm mostly in house music not in soul/Rnb.

you should check the modern beats stuff they have some really good value sample packs that fit that kind of nu school rnb sound really well. http://www.modernbeats.com/

the neptunian drumz kits in particular have that really nice tight sound that would fit right in with some slick d'angelo/eryka badu shit. for $30 it would be rude not to.

I had already downloaded their free stuff but it seems it wasn't just the thing I was looking for....Even the audio demo looks too much "twisted" for my taste.

the free stuff might not have what you're after but seriously, ?uestlove, the drummer who played on the d'angelo album has a very specific drum sound, subtly boomy kick with lots of sub freqs, really 'chicky' side stick... just like pharell from the neptunes... infact i wouldn't be suprised if pharell was influenced by the ?uestlove sound... anyway in neptunian drums you will definatley find a good selection of drums that fit those descriptions... of course theres lot of twisted sounding ones too but believe me you won't be dissapointed.

If you own battery 2 then you should be able to squeeze some good hits from that.

"I need a rim shot, hey, diggy diggy, a rimshot, hey, come on".

Those rimshots could easily come from the battery arsenal, given the right fx.
