since english isnt my native language i tend to "borrow" texts from different places, tweak them a little and publish...

As long as the text isn't copyrighted we should be OK. Definitions, for example, should be fine, articles on the other hand may well not be legally reproducible without permission. You should only add stuff that you know it is OK to do so.
