Is T2 always in 1024x768?

It seems like no matter how large my desktop res is (1280x1024)... Tracktion feels the same size. The buttons and graphics don't get smaller like other apps.

I'd just like a little more surface space when im working...

Also the GUI seems "slow." The meters are set to instant fade out etc... but it still lags behind FL and my other apps. Is this normal?

my JUCE apps are the same. due to heavy use of proportional sizing of the components. I imagine Ts the same story.

good point. never thought of it. might have to rethink my component sizing policies.

it's easy to make everything like that and have a massivly squashable interface. which is nice.

Here's an attempt to convert this to a feature request:

Three possible solutions for users of large hi-res monitors:

1. Provide a Small/Medium/High resolution option in the Misc Settings panel.

2. Allow for both minimum and maximum sizes for UI elements. (Right now there seems to only be a minimum.)

3. Provide the ability to resize the various sections of the Project and Edit tabs so you can drag the sub-elements of the UI to different sizes.

all you'd have to do is give components a maximum size. so as the screen gets bigger, the bottom panel (for example) stops growing at a certain point, thus giving more space to the track area or whatever.
