I'm not a Tracktion user, I'm testing with demo to be sure that I can do same particular things with my vst, so that I can explain it to Tracktion users.
What I need is:
- I put a "filter" on a track. It is a 2 in 2 out send vst
- Midi commands from an external keyboard control my vst, which uses audio in and outputs audio out
What I did is:
- Put the vst in a track
- Link midi in to that track
- Link audio in as stereo pair to the same track
- Set output from track1 to track 2
- Record (both tracks selected with shift) while playing notes on the keyboard
What I get is:
- Some strange behaviour (I guess). The first time I get midi and audio in recorded in the first track, the second time I get output from vst recorded in the same track1. Nothing in track 2.
I'm sure that Tracktion can do this basics.
What I'm doing wrong? Any suggestion?
