Ethernet Problem on new Receptor help!

I just got my Receptor in the last coupoe of days and am unable to connect it with Windown XP desktop. After following the quickstart procedure this is what happens. When I try to switch the Receptor to Crossover mode and apply it - it goes back to manual and wont go to crossover. However as a test i tried applying the DCHP mode and once applied it stayed in that mode. But trying to set to crossover just goes back into manual mode. I could I suppose set it up manually but I'd rather not! and would need instructions.

The Receptor OS is 1.3.20050627

So i need to update the OS, which I can't do until I get the two talking to each other.

Sorted it! Turned out to be human error. Some fool did'nt push the card far enough into the slot, wonder who that was....ahem.
