Hi folks,
When I visited the Raw Material Website, I took a look at the juce demo! I downloaded it and realized that there are two "looks" available. "the old look", as we know it from Trackion, and a "new shiny look", which is very similar to MacOSX. So my question is, is it possible, that we'll get a V3 of Tracktion, that is not 2d any longer, but looks more like OsX? Or perhaps there will be an option for both looks, as it is in the Juce demo. I'd like to see that in an upcoming update of Tracktion! As Juce is getting more "big", perhaps Tracktion will benefit a lot from it!?
How do you see that?

I will continue using the 2D, but I bet there'll be the option! If T3 continues to be built on JUCE (as it better well be!) and the ability to alternate between flat and shiny exists in JUCE, I can't imagine any good reason it shouldn't be possible!
The only thing I can think of is that all of the widget elements in Tracktion (ie. the filters) might be a different graphics "class" (or whatever it's called in code-monkey lingo) than mere oval buttons, and it would therefore be difficult to make homogenous.
I think it's a great idea, though. I may prefer the 2D, but I've seen the "shiny" JUCE buttons and I can see how they'd appeal to a lot of people!
