The Mackie Support Forum is down right now, so I'll try posting my question here.
I downloaded the T2 demo and loved it! Over a week ago, I went to my local music store and bought a boxed version, but have yet to install it (I've been super busy). Do I need to uninstall the T2 demo? The demo version (2.0.2.8) is actually newer than the boxed version (2.0.1) that I just bought.
I've created an account on my.makie.com and tried to enter the license number that came with my boxed version, but I got an error message saying the number isn't valid or is already owned by another account. Does this have anything to do with not having actually installed the boxed version yet? Thanks in advance!
Question about installing and registering T2

No you shouldn't have to uninstal the demo. The boxed version is older as you said. In fact there is a newer version then the demo you are using. Double check the license number you are entering. One common mistake is mistyping zeros as the letter "oh". There is no letter "oh" in our license numbers. Also, people sometimes mistake 8s and Bs. If your sure you entered it in correctly, you'll need to contact support to find out why it is giving you that message. Call them at the numbers found here http://www.mackie.com/products/home/contact.html or email them at techmail@mackie.com and include the license number and email address you are using for the account. They'll get you going.

Thank you both for your quick replies!
I checked my licencse number and unfortunately there are no zero's or 8's or B's so I'll be emailing Mackie shortly.
I know that version 2.2 just came out, but I saw so many bug reports in this forum that I can wait. I got the older boxed version because I wanted the bundled RMIV

Mackie tech support is awesome!!
Thankfully, I've never had to deal with any kind of tech support for music software before and I'm very impressed with the service I've recieved from Mackie. Even though my problem was probably one of the simpler issues to tackle, I was in no way treated like a newbie that needs to "read the manual" (cuz my problem wasn't covered in the manual) and my issue was dealt with rather quickly. I've read so many horror stories on other forums where software developers seem to not want to be bothered with "stupid" questions and it sends me a really elitist vibe. You just got a customer for life Mackie
Beno - thanks for the suggestions and tech support email; they got me going
