Is there anything available to list which edits are contained in each project file, or conversely which project file an edit belongs to?
Or is the only way to open up the project files in T2?
I would like to work on some old edits, and I'm not sure which project file they belong to.
Any help appreciated.

You should use one project file per song, imho.
That would probably cure everything wouldnt it?

I guess I just don't understand this question or the workflow that causes it.
I've been using Tracktion for a year and a half and have never questioned where my edits are. I've always made a project for each song that I work on. Each project has a series of edits contained in it that I used as a sort of version history for the song, as I move from scratchpad ideas to final, attempted mastered version.
Perhaps you aren't doing as Ron suggests, and you are simply doing 'new edit' when you are working on a new song. Instead, do 'new project' for a new song, and then 'new edit' once you have selected a project/song to work on.
