...to the dropped first note issue!

From the recent Rosegarden release:
The default sequencer timer selection should be better behaved than in 1.0 (eliminating the dreaded "Rosegarden only plays the first note" problem).
So, all Mackie needs to do is get their hands on the code for the previous version of Rosegarden, which seemingly suffered from an "only plays the first note" bug, and then merge it with the existing T2 code, which includes a "dropped first note bug."

Problem solved.

I should get paid for this stuff!

Unless they mess it up resulting in all notes being dropped, hehe.

Rosegarden is actually the (yet) most advanced Sequencer (MUSE is still in beta) for LINUX, reminding of earlier Cubase versions, featuring VST support (with the known linux problems) and having a very good score editor. The guys who made it did also do a part of the linux audio core and released the "Studio To Go" (which I happen to own):

good joke anyway - but Rosegarden is a nice peace of mature software

No doubt, I wasn't intentionally making fun of Rosegarden at all, but rather poking fun at Tracktion. ;) I kept the whole Rosegarden quote intact to show that if there WAS a bug, it has been addressed.
