I've downloaded and installed most stable version of the LAME mp3 encoder
and each time I use it to render tracktion compositions as MP3 files
I lose playback inside tracktion. I can no longer here compositions
unless I leave tracktion and restart the program.
I'm running under windows XP home version with 512 M memory and enough disk.
Is any one else having or had similar problems and knows a way around it ?

all seems to work fine here 
but i use the latest alpha driver, but it was fine with the most stable driver as well, i just find the alpha quicker (the alpher has a bug with exported mono MP3's BTW)

The problem persists with the recent tracktion update.
I have also tried the Alpha version which is worse, it causes
tracktion to crash, very close to the end of the mp3 production
phase, without any kind of message, warning or otherwise.
