Rearranging Plug in Filters

When you rearrange the filters into different folders do you have to keep the preset folder with the filter, or can they be kept in a separate directory?

You can keep it whereever yo want. When loading a preset, browse to the location.

EDIT: I assume you mean loading fxp/b to VST plugins. If you are talking about a certain plugin own internal format, that depends on the plugin itself (some require a certain folder determined at installation etc.)
