Drive Replacement/authorization question

If you replace the hard drive on Receptor, obviously you would need to reinstall any user-installed plugs, but would you also need to re-authorize them? Kontakt II specifically in my case. If so, would it behoove me to deauthorize the version on my current hard drive before swapping?
