Hi,

in the case where you are importing samples where loudness has been sampled in (meaning low velocity samples are not normalized) AND you uncheck the auto-normalise on import (all this to preserve natural dynamics and sound)

THEN

there is a velocity to volume adjustment that is missing. Got it in my EmuX sampler, and my kits work a lot better with it.

Cool, I am ready to pay for it if it includes what I need. That would be cool if he would list what he wants to do to it...

-like an external fx send instead of the reverb send
-when you change patrns over midi, the patterns indicators are not realiable (meaning the patrns letters do not highlight reliably when changing patrns)

here's an ugly one, crossfading when triggering a new sample. This really only affects kick drums, I get the occasional pop/click when I try to play a kick too fast (especially if the samples are 'long'). Since implementing this might be cumbersome perhaps just one pad (for kicks) with this feature.

also announcing:

DK+ upgrade will be release in about a week, maybe 10 days, it will include Set One LE (one 10 pads kit) in the library a few new features and the necessary fixes,

- current Set One package will NOT be removed from sale,

- upgrade will be free to who bought Set One before the upgrade release date,

- to all the other DK+ users the price of the upgrade should be less that 20 USD

Hi liqih, I m about to buy dk+, and I wonder if the future updtae will have more separate outputs?? as I m building custom sets in energyXT, including custom fx and process, I would need some more outputs (mono could be enough).
also what will be the price of the new version comparing to the current one??

now I've changed a little the plan,

1) there will be a Set One LE (a ten pads kit) included in the DK+ upgrade,

2) full Set One will stay on sale,

2) who bought Set One before the upgrade will get the DK+ upgrade for free

sorry I don't think I will add more outputs,
currently there are 3 stereo and 3 mono outs, or you can see them as 9 mono outs,

maybe you could use two instances of DK+ in your energyXT patch
since everything is saved in one *.ext file,

the price of the new version should be no more than 46 USD,
price of the upgrade from 1.2 about 20 USD or less

well, I agree 9 output is enough, but it could be more handy if we had an option to "monoify" the outputs. currently you can only route either to the mono sends or to one of the three stereo pairs. of course I can cheat with panning, but I d like to have outs 3/4 and 5/6 as mono outs (I mean as 4 true mono outs instead of 2 stereo). not a real need, just could be an handy option.
and 46$ will be still a more than fair price, I think I ll be a future user soon.

also when I am on it, some FR after some days of demo testing:
-drag n drop to a layer as easily as to a cell
-preview in context when dragging over a cell or a layer without releasing
-a nice browser window (independant window than stay open while selecting samples) with righ click = prelisten or something like that

I would love to be able to nudge individual drum hits slightly off the beat. Or at the very least, individual pads.

these is what I implemented for DK+ update:

-MIDI file drang&drop export from DK+ sequencer to host

-On GUI Reverb toggle

-Kit name and Style name saved in song, marked with * if edited from the original

-No more one message per missing sample, but only on
popup with the list of missing samples

-Switch HP/LP in voice editor, filter per pad

-faster load bank by a new button near the Kit menu

-Extra out for FX Send, with Reverb disabled
