Chris Hein/KAB/Garritan comparisons?

No review in KVR for Chris Hein Horns/Kick Ass Brass/Garritan Jazz Big Band yet, so I was wondering what anyone else thinks about these 3 Receptor compatible brass plugs?

Im aiming for live use, so key and velocity switching is a high priority. Im thinking KAB sounds best so far.

Any other thoughts?

No key-switching in KAB, I'm afraid so if that's a priority I guess you'd have to look elsewhere. There's a workaround using a freeware midi plugin but I guess that won't work in Receptor.

There's also First Call Horns from www.bigfishaudio.com but I'm not sure it's available for Receptor.

I'm assuming you're talking about solo instrument parts? To be able to play full brass arangements live I guess you'd have to be an octopus.

Im not into playing solo parts, as unless you always have two hands for them, you can't do expression too well if you can't use the mod/pitch controls. Im used to playing brass section parts with one hand, even if I do have to rework them sometimes when they're jumping octaves and stuff.

So the KAB has no keyswitching? What about velocity switching?
