Would receptor be good as a Mic pre-amp for recording into your host? Perhaps using the Mic Input with an adapter? Are there other ways to use a Mic for recording purposes? or would a dedicated pre-amp be better.?
If Receptor is good, what would be good routinhg options: using uniWire or SPIF or a direct Line input to the computers sound card ?

I just tried it with a mic a high Z transformer and it worked fine. WIth the right plugins it my even sound SWEET:)
