m-audio keystation pro 88 zone switching

howdy. i'm using an m-audio keystation pro 88 as a controller for my receptor. i'm running into something interesting that i can't quite figure out.

when ever i change zones the receptor somehow receives a midi cc that tells it to mute one of the master fx's. anyone know why a zone change would emmit a signal like that? i didn't program anything in there to do that, but it is very consistant. just wondering if anyone knows of something simple i might have missed.
