Anyone using Digital Performer (4.51 or later)? i have installed several times, but find no Uniwire VST nor an AU - only the installers. Receptor has Uniwire turned on with default selections, but DP shows nothing in either Instrument or effects busses.

What am I missing?

DP works with AU's. According to Muses's website, AU and RTAS versions are coming, soon. Um, that's probably why.

Or I could be totally wrong.

I just looked some more, I guess there's a BETA AU Uniwire. Maybe Plug-o-rama might have something?

Oh, one other thing, you might want to check if the Uniwire plug-in installed in your local library instead of the global library.

Check in /your_user_name/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components as well as in /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components

Usually, the paths are both scanned but perhaps in needs to be set within DP, somehow. I haven't used DP in a couple years, though.

The Find function found nothing with the name 'Uniwire' after repeated installations, despite the app saying it successfully installed. But I am working with whatever was shipped with the latest machines, mine's a Rev C under two weeks old (had to wait for delivery to Sweetwater, so it's fresh with the latest updates.

But after rebooting for the third time (and after looking in the user libraries, which I had completely forgotten about, and suddenly the files have 'appeared.' Sme day I'm going to have to learn Linux, damn it - I really didn't want to go through all that bs again... :D

But it looks like it'll be fine now - at least I should be able to FIND the plug, whether it works or not is yet to be seen. But I'll find out in the morning.

Well, the next day, the plugs have disappeared again. Neither directory shows the files, though I have a feeling they are still in there. If nobody has any better ideas I'm going to put this in to Plugorama.

OKI, for those with the same issue: reply from tech support - there are issues with DP and Uniwire, they are releasing a separate version for DP - but not quite yet.
