hi. New receptor user here. ( famous last words)
anyway, I purchased ivory and the NI b4 and eliktrik pianos along with the receptor.
should I run the demos installed or directly load the store bought ones?
if I load the demos will I have problems later when ( if) I need to install the full versions?
thanks
Newbie: use demos or actual products?

Hi John,
Demos (Muse installed) are kind of a different beast than demo software for a synth that you download.
The pre-loaded demos on Receptor are fully-functional programs. The only difference is that the Receptor OS times them out after something like 30 days.
For NI B4, this is authorized by iLok, so if you bought the synth through Plugorama, you simply need to transfer the authorization to your ilok Key.
For Ivory and Electric Piano, I don't really think there are demos. If these are installed on your HD by muse, you simply need to authorize them. You do this by running an "authorizer tool" (accessed from the system page on Receptor, below "update plugins"). When you run these, you need to enter the authorization code from the store-bought products. There are detailed instructions on authorizing these products in the User Guide (for NI), and somewhere on plugorama for Ivory.
If Muse has pre-installed all the sample and dll files for you, most of your work is already done!
Hope this helps, Regards,
Kevin L
