reset receptor??

I got this machine from a music store in Ottawa Canada to try out in the studio. It is the only one they had in stock. When I went to register it it was already registered to someone else who tried it out and the storte don't know who. How can I get this registered into my name?? Is it possible to put it back to factory settings??
