- Transvaal Audio has updated Lost Technology to v0.2.1.
Changes:
Bugfix to eliminate a potential memory leak in the buffer allocation routines.
Also now available is a program that can convert ".fxp" presets made for LT 0.1.2 and 0.1.3 to the format used by LT 0.2 and later versions.
Transvaal Audio has released version 0.2 of Lost Technology.
Changes:
- Configurable buffer sizes.
Option to invert the frequency and waveform update trigger sequence.
The effects of parameter settings are now mostly independent of the sample rate.
Lots of code reorganization and streamlining.
Transvaal wrote: Lost Technology transforms sounds by taking them apart and then putting them together in a different way. The Analyzer components split the input signals into amplitude, frequency and waveform (harmonic content) sub-signals. The Modulator components combine sub-signals (and audio signals) in various ways. The Synthesizer components merge one sub-signal of each type into a new audio signal.
Main features:
Can radically transform sound in many different ways.
Stereo or mono processing.
Can merge two mono sounds into one stereo sound.
Released under the MIT License. Full source code available.
Here's Lost Tech's MANUAL
Have I been buried under rubble today!?
How did I miss this?
dubbyah, blortblort, look!
Damn, why do I have to go do real life stuff right now?
I should have a preset bank made by tonight to expand upon the ones I did before. *Edit* here's my old presets, but Transvaal just confirmed that they won't work in this new version of Lost Tech: download link is near the botton of the post. So, I'll try to have a new preset bank up soon.
