Anyone?
I searched here and there was a "not yet" answer from 2005, and the kvr database says Receptor Compatability "Unkonwn"

My main tools: Kontakt, Omnisphere, Samplemodeling + Audio Modeling. Unify = godsend. Tari's libraries also rock.

I got Reaktor 5 working on Receptor tonight by hacking the heck out of the registry and doing some downright convoluted trickery. Once I got through it though, it seems pretty stable. All I played with were the synth ensembles like Carbon2, Steam Pipe2 and Equinox. They all run fine, and Receptor patches call up the right ensemble once saved.
All this to say WHY OH WHY ISN'T THERE AN OFFICIAL INSTALLER MUSE GUYS?
There doesn't SEEM to be any basic incompatibilities. It runs. Why not create a simple user-installer that has NO receptorized patches? (I realize that making an installer with all of the patches for all of the ensembles would be a nightmare! But I think most Reaktor users would be perfectly happy with a bare-bones installer, and the ability to create ensembles on the PC/MAC and then move them to the Receptor for performance).

Thanks HybernationHybernation wrote:I got Reaktor 5 working on Receptor tonight by hacking the heck out of the registry and doing some downright convoluted trickery.
That's what I'd be hoping to do.Hybernation wrote:I think most Reaktor users would be perfectly happy with a bare-bones installer, and the ability to create ensembles on the PC/MAC and then move them to the Receptor for performance).
I am tossing up whether to just consolidate my rig with just a receptor loaded with NI Kontakt 2 (with assorted libs), Reaktor 5, and a few other little bits and pieces.
Mind you, consiedring I don't need much, I could probably get away with using a lappy instead?
