I noticed that when you save a patch you can choose between NATIVE and something like HHP And HP2
what does this mean> does it have something to do with the virtual machine??

thanks

Yes.

The native format is either .fxp for VST or .aupreset for AU

The .h2p format is a plain text format that can be opened in any text editor, i.e. to add scripts (when I finally get around writing a manual for the VM). It's also useful as an exchange format between my plugins. Fot instance, Zebra2 reads presets from Zebralette in .h2p format. In future you might also be able to exchange patches between FilterscapeVA and Zebra.

For better understanding, patches can be saved with active modules only (way shorter!) and with extra comments on each section ("h2p extended").

It's more or less an investment in the future, when things keep up pace, i.e. the interoperability of u-he plugs.

Cheers,

;) Urs
