Second Hand Receptor and authorizations

I recently bought a second-hand Receptor. It works great and all, but there are a few problems:
First off, I specifically asked on this forum whether I could register the Receptor to my name if it was already registered by someone else. Basically overwriting the previous owner's registration. See here.
It turns out that is not possible although the opposite was claimed.
I tried to make a new plugorama account and register the Receptor, but it says that Receptor has already been registered. And the previous owner has no way of "deleting" the Receptor from his account. Now we solved it by me taking his account and changing the password and emailadress and other adress-data. This is a bit strange workaround because I am using an unfamiliar username that way.
Then there is iLok. It is actually possible to remove an iLok from your account so someoneelse can register it. But in order to do that it has to be empty. "No problem" we (the previous owner and I) thought. We just move the licences from the iLok to his account, and send them over to an account newly created by me and when the iLok is empty, he removes it from his account and I register it. Easy as pie... But only if you're willing to pay 250 dollar! Yes, that's right. iLok.com asks 25 dollars for each licence to be moved. That is outrageous!
So here too, I was forced to take on the previous owner's account. Luckily he didn't have any other iLok's otherwise that would have not been possible.
Now, on to the authorizations problems. I own Kontakt 2. Actually I own Komplete 3, but your Komplete 3 installer isn't ready yet (I am a patient person, but any idea when it'll be ready?) The previous owner also owns Kontakt 2 and had it installed on the Receptor.
Of course I wanted to authorize it using my own authorization. But there's no way of doing that. When I remove Kontakt using the uninstall feature and install it again using the Muse prepped installer for 2.0.0.2 it is there again, fully authorized.
Also, I want to install the 2.1.1 update. But when I install it using the prepped installer, it says it installed succesfully. It is still authorized (to the previous owner's authorization). But when I start it, and look at the info dialog, it appears still as version 2.0.0.2! And it fails to load my custom Kontakt programs I made on my PC using version 2.1.1. This is really annoying!
Can you guys help me out on these issues... and at least on the last ones?
Help would be appreciated!
Regards,
Daniel Debie
PS I still love the machine. That's for sure.

Great. I restarted the Receptor, and now when I want to run Kontakt (which was updated to 2.1.1 but still showed as the previous version) it says it isn't authorized correctly and the Receptor reboots. But when I selected Kontakt 2 in the Plugin Tools menu, it says it's properly authorized and the authorization form shows up with completed an uneditable authorization...
*sighs* I really want this to work...

If you haven't heard anything yet...I would open a ticket on Plugorama. The Muse folks are usually pretty easy and willing to work to resolve issues. And they can reauthorize your Receptor if you talk to them directly. They are a growing company and have limited but great resources in their staff and programmers. If you haven't already...go to www.plugorama.com and work with them directly. You'll be happy you did.

if you don't mind, keep this thread updated with your further success/failures. i'm thinking about selling my receptor but i'm dreading the licensing issues that would be involved. don't really want to lose my copy of akoustik piano in the process either.
