Please help me.I'm looking for that really cool piano delay sound.The kind of sound that is in the wonderful Arksun track called Arisen (Mimozart remix).I have nearly got that kind of sound before using my Roland XP50 with a multitap delay effect on it but I lost that preset and don't quite understand delay effects properly using hardware to get perfectly timed delays.I would love to understand how to get the perfect timed delay sounds I hear in so many trance records.I know there are vst instruments with great delay sound presets but I want to understand how to create great delay effects using my hardware synths.
I know you get BPM calculators for delay but seems very confusing when multitap delays are involved.
My gear is: Roland XP50 with techno and house expansion cards
Emu Extreme Lead1 sound module
