Question #2: hardware sequencers and Receptor

Does anyone else here use a stand alone hardware sequencer with the Receptor? How have you found it to work? Any plug-in you would recommend considering my set-up? I'm looking for the bombest sample player that receptor can handle, so i can get rid of all my keyboards (except for a controller), but I don't want to use a laptop, just Receptor.
