Hi Urs and anyone else who feels like checking this out-

I've had Zebra 2 (legit - really) for about 2 weeks now, and today, inspired by a tutorial involving another synth in last month's Computer Music magazine, I thought I'd try to gin up a sound similar to the famous THX sound appearing at the beginning of movies these days.

You can find my attempt at such a patch here:

Try playing a fifth and an octave (C-G-C', for example) in roughly the middle of the keyboard range.

If I understand how to do this correctly (which is NOT a given :-P ), what I've set up here should start at C-G-C', and the envelope generators 2 and 4 should cause oscillators 1 and 3 to slowly sweep up exactly one octave, while envelope generator 3 should cause osc. 2 to sweep down exactly one octave, all ending up with a big fat set of C's and G's.

So how come it sounds out of tune???? (I remind everyone that I'm all paid up and properly registered with Urs!)

Thanks,
Tim

I think you need to zero the velocity on the envelopes - the default is a +30 setting.
