Firstly, thanks Jo for PR5.

Most of the questions I have are not specific to PR5, as they were problems that I encountered on previous releases as well.

I wonder if anyone could clarify something for me regarding the following:

If I record a sequence in real-time and then want to erase, for example, the first few bars, I then use the splitter tool and the eraser to get rid of those bars.
The problem is, if I now drag the remaining sequence part to an earlier start point, sometimes the notes don't play - so I check the sequence editor (piano-roll) and delete the bars I don't want in there and try adjusting the loop points, but it doesn't seem to resolve the problem.

It seems slightly difficult to explain. I know that you can copy and paste a sequence part, which is fine, but I just wonder if the problem with chopping off the beginning of a sequence part and then moving it to a new location means that it no longer corresponds with the piano-roll, meaning that you need to shift the notes in the piano-roll to correspond with the sequence in the main screen.

Also Jo, a couple of things I've noticed:

1) When you want to record a new sequence, at present we have to draw some bars on a new track, then select sequence/audio before setting the properties for the part you want to record. What I don't understand is that you do all that, but when you record the part, Luna puts it on another new track, therefore leaving you with a blank track above it i.e. the one you set-up to record on is left blank. Forgive me if I'm missing something, but couldn't it be worked out that somehow the new data recorded ends up on the track you set-up for it? Could there also be an option of deleting unwanted tracks?

2) It would also be good to give the option to delete unwanted sequences from the part property panel, because at the moment it's easy to end up with unwanted sequences in the drop-down box - it would be good for keeping things clear. (This is PR5 specific!)

A few things which I would appreciate are a time-based display and the abilities to rename linked WAV files and delete those no longer used in the project. However, these are nothing major and I shouldn't comment until I have tried out PR5 with its fantastic-looking new Rack system!

I've noticed something alike. Is being researched.

I know what you mean. This will be improved soon.

OK.

OK, added to the Whish List.

That's for later.

As it's related with some other technical items.

Yeah, had the same whish about the audio files. It's on the Whish List.
