Hey gang,

I'm attempting to put my first tune together in Luna.

I'm trying to chop up a loop and it has been difficult to accurately place the cursor for precise edits. I have tried to use the 'split at...' function, but it appears I only get quarter note resolution.

I was able to place the cursor more accurately in the Audio Lab and then switch back to the sequencer and the cursor remains where I want it, but I am clueless as how to indicate this for the 'split at.." function.

Fwiw, I am trying to manually chop up a drum break on the time line at the original tempo of the loop - hopefully allowing a sort of REX like approach to audio.

Also can we place markers yet?

Jo, are there plans to replicate the chopping functions we had in the wave labo (Muzys)? Or do you recommend we simply get a Vsti which handles this?

No, not yet. Only the Start marker for now.

It's definitely the plan to add an integrated synth/sampler that is much more suited for the creative sound work.

LUNA's Audio Parts and Audio Lab are more usful for linear multitrack recording/playback.

So indeed, if you want to slice up drumloops, then i think it's best to use a proper vsti for now, e.g. a sampler where you can tweak start points and put the different start points of a sample on different keys.

Did you try H4xx0r already?

I did not yet, but it looks interesting.

Awesome!!! I was hoping you'd say that! :hail: any rough estimate of arrival for this feature?

But I'm a huge fan of PHATmatik Pro!
