I have to say, I'm hoping there is more. I LOVE my Receptor. But I am getting a bit frustrated at all the resources spent trying to get new customers. All the new packages, Pro, Pro Jr., Rev C., Colossal Mega Super Drum Pro Jr....

Guys, we MUST have updates. If this is to be a viable platform, we MUST have updates to the existing supported software, and big name new software. I realize that not everyone can be satisfied with all the software out there, but there are some pretty big ones...

Komplete, Stylus, BFD, perhaps the Cakewalk stuff...

I was SO hopeful that we would hear more from NAMM...

I love this box but it's starting to get used less as I have to run Komplete, Dimension Pro, Albino 3, etc from my PC or Mac...

And as much as I love this product, announcing Uniwire for Universal Binary at AES was a big mistake. We still don't have even an ETA on it....

...I'm wanting to love this more...

I agree. I would definitely like:
-- to have existing supported apps updated to support their most current versions (e.g. the lastest Kontakt 2, the latest Stylus RMX)
-- to have more applications supported

I suppose this is just a situation of a small company with limited resources.

Motion thirded in the strongest conceivable way!

The lack of progress on plug-ins the last year has been VERY disappointing.

There are very few of us Receptor users who wouldn't evangelize the product in the strongest possible way. In fact, I think many of us have done just that.

In fact, Muse has really got a very strong group of users here. Especially Kermit and Hybernation, and others who are always willing to help a new user.

Those core users are incredibly important to the product. I would venture to guess that 5-6 satisfied and vocal users (like we have here) will drive sales and retention in a very strong way.

What can we do to help, Muse? What can we do to help make sure products and updates keep coming? I know its a matter of resources on your end. How can we help with more resources that can do this for free. They have to be out there....

...We want this to work. We love our Receptors.

As I have stated elsewhere, there is a need to show progress in other areas. Though marketing to new potential customers is important, to seemingly ignore a core user base is not a good marketing tactic. Word of mouth is one of the most important marketing tools available to any company, big or small. To have rabid disciples spreading the word is very important when it comes to a person deciding to take the plunge on a brand new company and their product. Muse needs to dedicate a resource to keep the rabid infected. There needs to be some visible progress in apps/VSTs being Receptorized. I doubt if everyone's fav VST can be converted, but some hope needs to be delivered to the faithful.

Hello folks

We understand that our plugin installation method has been a huge bottleneck in plugin support. And we understand that plugin compatibility is a big problem for our wonderful customer base.

A plan is underway to move to a streamlined installation method for User Installable plugins where you run a plugin's windows installer directly on your Receptor. The system is well on the way to completion and is in use internally. We will still need to verify that an installer and plugin works before adding it to our list of officially supported plugins using this method. We hope to keep the list growing quickly by working with trusted Receptor power users to help verify plugin compatibility.

You are all correct that our limited resources is the problem. Please bear with us. We know it's a problem and are well along the way to fixing it.
