Hi all,
So I just purchased Z2 and have been fooling around with it I like its sound alot but I am having a serious issue. For some reason the very 1st midi note does not play from starting on that note.
As an example, lets say in Logic I have the loop function set to start on bar 2 and the first Z2 note also starts on bar 2, once I hit play the very 1st note is silent and the 2nd midi note plays from there on. Whats even more interesting is that after the loop has passed and starts again the missing note now is apparent.
So basically I cant start a track with Z2 in from a dead stop.
Here is what I have found for a work around but its annoying me that I even have to do this. If I set the track delay to eith er +1 or -1 the problem goes away.
Any one have any ideas?
Here is what I am running....
Mac Pro 2.66
Logic Pro 7.2
Latest and greatest Z2, I think its 2.1?
Motu Traveler
Everything else works fine and if I insert any other plugs the problem does not happen to this means its an isolated issue with Zebra 2.
Thanks in advance!
New Z2 user, Logic Pro issue where first note doesnt play!

Nope, it's a known bug in Logic 7.2.x - it happens whenever a plugin with latency is added to any track. All my plugs have 16 samples latency (key to optimization).
A workaround is easy: While working on a track, add 1/384th note (or less) of delay in the Track parameters... Remove delay before final mixdown... (or add this delay to every track)
Cheers,
Urs
