I guess that's because Spectrasonics is sort of "borrowing" their interfaces.

Hm, I always thought they licensed the interface from someone else. Maybe that was only valid for older versions?beej wrote:How do you mean? Stylus RMX is developed entirely in-house...

Stylus (original version), Atmosphere and Trilogy use the UVI engine licensed from another company.
Stylus RMX (a completely different instrument to the original Stylus) was built completely in-house (chiefly by Glenn of "Crystal" frame) from the group up, as will all future Spectrasonics products...

Stylus RMX (at least the AU version) does indeed support the scroll wheel in certain parts (but not all) of the interface..... not sure about the VST version, but I don't think it does...
All plugins should do this, IMO.. so should all DAWs (Cubase does, Live and Logic don't, AFAIK).... I mean, it makes huge sense to be able to 'scroll-wheel' your faders and pan knobs, eh?
So yes, thank you Urs for making this work in the ever-fab Zebra.... I'm loving it...... (although I do occasionally *mistakenly* scroll a setting instead of the rack, but that's just me getting used to things)...

Defenitely. In Logic, at least the plugins support scrollwheels, but it's not as clever as in Zebra, as you have to click on the knob/fader you want to tweak first.tribalogical wrote: I mean, it makes huge sense to be able to 'scroll-wheel' your faders and pan knobs, eh?
I'd really love to see the same smart Zebra scrollwheel behaviour for faders, pan pots and whatever.

Now, let's not even talk about those menus! I am pretty much ready to pull my chainsaw out!beej wrote:I'd just want to be able to use the scroll wheel in the browser windows - you know, the huge lists with big SCROLL bars in them...![]()
Absolutely OT, but: Under Logic/Win, if you had more items in a menu than what would fit on your screen height, there would be nice collumns automatically! Most often, there even was no need to scroll at all, let alone using the tiny little arrows on the bottom/top.
And also don't get me started on the socalled, absolutely f**ked up "pro" application menus. They're good enough to make me feel half blinded on the Macbook and they don't even remember their last position, so they will ALWAYS open centered on the main monitor. Ergonomics my ass, really...
