Hi there,

i live in Germany and i'm very interested in the receptor. The demos and videos i saw and heard were not very representive for me, concerning the sound of receptor.
I would like to know which D/A conveters are used in receptor, because the new hardwaresynths now own much better outputs than the synthgeneration before.

Greetings

I can't answer your question, but I can tell you that the converters are very musical, and appear to my ear to be quite linear. MUCH power output from the analog outs (most synths are run at 75-80% full gain for best S/N and sound, I have to give my PA guy no more than 35% or I drive his lline in channels into distortion, and the sound quality is excellent.

Tech below are about the sound card mounted on Receptor (Rev A) by default.
I suppose something could be changed during various developments, anyway it's a really awesome sounding soundcard.
