Installing Hartmann Neuron VS plug-in on Receptor

OK, I got the .dll file to install successfully as an unsupported plug-in. However, there are two other components: something Hartmann calls "Models," and something they call "Sounds." These didn't install (together with the .dll file). I tried just copying them over to the Receptor hard drive, but (a) they have some sort of copy protection that prohibits them from being copied or moved, and (b) it's not clear where to stick them, so they'd liaise properly with the .dll file. So the way it looks on the screen, there's Neuron VS instantiated on one of the channels, but no patches to go with it. Any ideas?

Hi DK,
Were these .dlls in the same folder as the vsti-.dll?
One possibility might be to stick these in the C:/windows/system folder. .dlls may be found here, and won't be treated by Receptor like plugins.
Of course, if you are having issues with copy-protection, there's not much you can do to get around that.

Kevin L

Hey dkronemyer, can you please update the info on your trial to install Neuron VS on Receptor? Have you succeeded? Can you describe how did you install the nuke?

Thank you for this idea, which I'll try next time I devote some attention to this interesting but complex problem. DK
